If you are passionate for all children to have their best access to Jesus, hear the gospel, and grow in their faith, then we have opportunities for you on Sunday mornings!
Access Ministry Opportunities:
Classroom Volunteer: help children in a small group setting grow in their faith through hands on teaching from our more developmentally appropriate curriculum. Roles could include, but are not limited to, assisting students during free play, the lesson, and snack time. There will be a teaching leader in the classroom, so this is a support role. (Year round, several times per month)
Buddy Volunteers: be a one-on-one assistant to a child in their general Sunday School class to help with focus, behavior, or access to the curriculum as they grow their faith and increase their knowledge of Jesus Christ. (Weekly to bi-monthly commitment, running concurrently with Sunday School)
Retreat Volunteer: staff our current sensory room, the Retreat. This works in tandem with our Buddy system and is a role only needed if one of our students with a Buddy needs a break from the Sunday School class. It would include being there for the Buddy and helping in any way they might need. (Weekly to bi-monthly commitment, running concurrently with Sunday School)
