In Matthew 28:19, Jesus gave his followers a specific task. Many of you know these words as the Great Commission: “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations. . .”

What you may not realize is that this is a completable task. Many of God’s commands are not completable but rather calls for ongoing faithfulness. But the Great Commission is a different type of commandment—it has a measurable end in sight.

Jesus wants every ethnic group on earth to have access to the gospel through a thriving, reproducing church. That goal isn’t abstract or endless—it’s something we can actually track, something we can actually finish.

Through this year’s REACH conference, we hope you’ll come away with a fresh perspective on the Great Commission and an understanding of how you can help finish the task.
