Please pray for my niece. She has diabetes, Afib, and receives dialysis 3 to 4 times a week. She has been in the hospital since the beginning of September from back surgery which afterward she contracted sepsis and an infected lumbar disc. Yesterday she had another surgery to remove the infection and fuse the two discs together. She is a believer. Please pray for her and her husband to endure, be strengthened and that she have a complete recovery and to give The Lord all the praise. Thank you!

Thank you for your prayers! Vaughn's dads surgery went well. Mass was on the outside of his left kidney so only had to removed a small portion of his kidney! Right kidney mass looks benign and will keep a watch on it. No chemo or radition. So grateful for news! He will be released from hospital on Sunday. Grateful for all your prayers!

Grateful for the body of Christ in prayer. Please join me in praying for Vaughn's Dad, Vernon. He is undergoing surgery at 11am today to remove Stage 3 cancer in his left kidney. There is another mass in his right but the cancer is only contained in the left kidney. Vaughn flew out last night and with him and his family in Phoenix, AZ.

Please pray for my husband and our marriage. He is on the verge of leaving our family and ending our marriage. He believes that while he loves me, he is not in love with me and will never be again. He doesn't want to try and fix it and believes that it cannot be fixed. He believes it is best for our family for us to be done. We have been married for 14 years and have 4 children together. He is in a very dark place spiritually, mentally and emotionally.

Deepak and Carly Jacob

Carly has reached her 40th week of pregnancy. Her doctors have scheduled an induction for her tomorrow. Jane is miraculously still here but, as expected, with a host of physiological challenges (and not expected to make it out of the hospital).

Will you please pray for us in the coming days? - for Carly’s health before/during/after delivery - that we could meet Jane alive - Jane to be comforted and to not be in pain - wisdom for doctors and nurses - grace for each of the upcoming days

Thank you all!

My mental health and emotional health have not been very steady. Praise God for dropping a new friend in my lap (literally a new neighbor girl friend who has also had a lot of problems in life needs a friend just as much as I do) praying we can be a lift to encourage each other

Amy

I just got word that my dearest friend from childhood tried to commit suicide last night and has been admitted to the hospital. I got the text in the middle of the night and did not see it until this morning. She lives 3 hours away in Illinois and I am trying to reach her family to see how she is doing. Feeling helpless and guilty that I didn’t do more. My heart is breaking for her and her family. She has 3 kids and the oldest in college was the one who took her to the hospital. Please pray for them.

UPDATE- Praise and continued prayer. This past week new evidence and concerns have arisen in our 18 month old foster son’s case (baby Z). Tuesday, Oct. 22nd a meeting is scheduled at the agency where Z’s caseworker and her supervisor meet with a panel of higher-up personnel (Program administrator…) regarding his case. They will hear their evidence and concerns regarding sending Z to the out of state relative. We have been told a decision will be made then regarding if Z for sure will be sent out of state to the aunt. (We desire to adopt him.) LORD, make a way, challenge this high-level leader’s thinking, tenderize their hearts, they would weigh heavily the new evidence. May this panel not make a decision from the lens of making the agency look good by adding to their reunification numbers. May these leaders decide to have on the forefront of their mind, “What is the child’s best interest in this case?” But God, this innocent child, baby Z deserves the stability of a forever family who want him. Please continue praying God would continue to move mountains, part the waters, make a way for Z to remain with us.

Prayer update. Praise God for all He has done thus far. Our daughter & Son-in-law have gotten temporary custody (6 months) of our Son-in-law's sister's two children. The mother is bitter about visitation as J and R have asked that it be done through CPS (and their "supervised visitation" staff. This has become most helpful in lessening tension in their home and marriage. There is a new twist which involves the fathers of each of these children. They have (each) obtained attorneys and are petitioning for custody. Both of these men have criminal records. This creates a whole new batch of emotions for J and R. I ask for prayer. That first & foremost God's will be done, for His ways & thoughts are not ours. Prayer for The mother of these children who is angry about the "off-site" supervised visitation. Prayer for J's family as they will become aware of what is taking place regarding custody. Prayer for R & J as they would love to raise these children, but have not the financial ability to obtain probate counsel. And last but certainly, that this will draw them back to worship, and back (& closer) to God as they cannot do this on their own. And that our family will support them in every way we can. Thank you so much for your prayers.

1) my 22 year old daughter Alyson’s lungs are filled with blood clots. She has CTEPH (chronic hypertension) because of it. She is scheduled for an open heart surgery to scrape her lungs and arteries on 2/14 in San Diego. Praying that this is curative and that there are no complications.

2) Praying for direction for my 18 year old son, Andrew, as he struggles with what his next steps should be for his future.
