The College Park Church Prayer Wall is the central place for prayer requests. Share your prayer requests, pray for others and see how others have prayed for you. To receive regular updates from the Prayer Wall, please click Manage Email Subscriptions. Go to the Subscriptions tab under My Account and select Prayer Requests.
By submitting prayer requests to the Prayer Wall, you are giving consent for the church to post prayer requests online and on the College Park social media. College Park has the right to edit all information submitted to ensure the proper level of privacy is maintained. Update: No Hodgkin's disease! God is good! Still have Hashimoto's thyroid condition, with trouble sleeping, weight gain, etc. Causing health issues. No thyroid meds at this time. However, meds for very low vit. D deficiency may be causing "tummy trouble" leading to Appendicitis. Had scary symptoms this week. Taking break from vit. D.
Prayer requests: 1) For no Appendicitis! 2) that meds cause no side effects at all, later, 3) resolving the weight and lack-of-sleep issues related to Hashimoto's. Thank you for your prayers. It means the world. :-)

So many of our people are ministering in some tough situations. Please pray for Ruth, one of our members, who works at Riley hospital and sees so much pain and heartache. Today, a family whom she has been helping lost their two year old, beautiful baby girl named Jenna to a rare heart condition. Pray for Jenna's mom and dad as they will miss her immensely. On the other hand, Jenna is in the arms of our Strong Savior.

Please pray for my 4 year old daughter, Trinity. She tripped in our backyard and broke her arm. She is in a lot of pain. And please pray for me to be able to handle this. I watched it happen and it brought me back to being in the hospital with our first daughter, Jordan. I felt helpless to do anything for her and she died in my arms 2 days after she was born. While I know Trinity is going to be fine, and I am grateful for that, I realized that I have so much pain that is stirred up when my kids get hurt .

I was just let go from my job on Monday and am in the search for a job. I ask that God gives me peace about this and makes the search easy. This is the first time of being let go and not having steady work and it is very scary and I don't know how to handle it very well.

My mom, Dana Kay (CPC regular attender) had emergency surgery last night to remove 10 inches of small intestine. She had what's referred to as an internal hernia. The thought is that her bladder surgery from last year left some scar tissue that impacted a couple of spots of her intestine and eventually killed those areas, basically. She's looking at 10-14 days in the hospital and then a fairly slow recovery. As of this morning, she's resting and surgery went well.
Please pray for her physical recovery, but please also pray for her emotionally and spiritually - she's really missing her good friends right now. Please also pray that Chana and I would be good daughters while we balance pretty busy homes right now!

Please pray for Diana Davis and her family as her younger brother passed away on Saturday. Plans are yet to be finalized for a memorial, but she will be going to San Francisco. Also, the family will have a memorial here (to be determined). He was a dear brother, husband and father, but did not know the Lord. He had a heart attack, and never recovered. Please pray for this time of sorrow to be used in bringing those unbelieving family members to the Father.

My Aunt Janet was just diagnosed with breast cancer. The doctors called and they want to do surgery next week. My aunt is scared and upset. Please pray that I will not give into fear, lies and doubt. My physical conditions cause me to not be able to mentally focus well or emotionally process easily, and satan is attacking with great force. I have no energy to fight back and no wisdom to work through some very hard situations in my family and in relationships.

Mary Steele was just released from the hospital and is still in need of much rest. Her parents have come to help, but they are taking care of many household duties and we would like to continue to bless the Steele family for another week, providing meals for them. Meals for 6 people are requested.

My grandfather, Richard Pipkin, is at St. V's hospital. He has pneumonia and is on anti-biotics and oxygen, but they caught it early. He is 90 years old. Please pray that God would supernaturally meet with him.

Please pray for the Pyatte and Gentry families at the sudden death of Tillie's young cousin, Nathan Gentry, who died in a car accident on Saturday.
