Adam Larison/ PRAISE!

Praise God for healing my wife, Shannon of breast cancer. She was diagnosed 8/2011. After a long road of chemotherapy and 3 surgeries on 4/17/2012, she was told by her doctors this week that her pathology reports were very good. The tumor she had in her left breast was 5cm and after removed along with tissue it was said to have shrunk to 2cm. 3 out of 22 lymph nodes removed from under her left under arm area were said to be malignant. This is good. It is believed that all of the cancer is gone from her body. Shannon will still have radiation treatments in a few weeks, and 2 more out-patient surgeries for reconstruction months from now. Thank you all for your prayers, encouragement, help with our kids, meals, help around our home, etc. We love you College Park Church family. Thank you God for healing Shannon and for walking with us through this time. May you, dear God, get all the glory and praise. Continue to strengthen us and use us for your kingdom.

Praise the Lord! I called the doctor to find out what is going on. When I had endoscopic and esophagus dilation done. I have improved some with less pain and less coughing. Thank you for your prayer. There was one pylop to be tested. It is not cancerous, so I am good. The doctor said all my organs are good and everything else. Again, thank you for your prayer.

Our daughter Alanna goes for a biopsy as her newlywed husband, Shane is deployed to Africa for at least one year. Praying for our faith to grow through this so we are found worshiping Our Redeemer. Grant daily dependence, repentance and transcendent joy for whatever each day brings and a hungry heart for a deeper love life in Jesus !!

I must carefully consider several alternative cancer treatments. Each carries its own benefits and risks. I'm prayerful that in consutation with the attending MD's and my son-in-law, a surgeon, the Lord will guide us to the right choice.

My brother Steve and his wife live in South Bend. Robin has just been diagnosed with throat cancer. Steve recently had back surgery and is still suffering in pain and with arthritis. They are struggling financially so he had to go back to work which is taking a toll on him physically. In addition, Robin's 25 yr. old daughter passed away last year from kidney failure and they are raising they're 5 year old grandson. I can hear the dispair in my brother's voice when I talk to him. Please pray for their salvation, for encouragement and comfort. Pray for their physical and financial needs. Pray that God will open my eyes and let me know how I can help them.

It has been on my heart heavily lately to pray for our former pastor Kimber. While God has graciously taken good care of us here in the gift of our new pastor, let us not forget Kimber. Just as God does not turn His back on us, but loves and forgives us and gives us a hope for our future, let us do the same for Kimber. Let us pray that God would grant Kimber healing and that He would restore Kimber.

Camille Cantwell has invited you to join the meal train for Mary & Rusty Steele. Mary has been diagnosed with mono and needs our help to get through the next few weeks, the busiest weeks of AWANA with 3 closings and many details she must attend to with the end of the year. Can you help?

What is a meal train? There are times in our lives when friends and family ask, "What can I do to help out?" The answer is usually to help them with a meal. When many friends give a meal, this is a meal train.

If you cannot make a meal, but would like to help out, feel free to give them a gift card to a local restaurant instead. It would be a huge blessing to Mary and her family.

Thank you!

Thank you all so much for your prayers and support with Nathan's (Josh Huron's brother) recent illness. We went to see him tonight at the hospital and there are still a lot of unanswered questions and serious concerns. He has been on dialysis which, praise God, has helped his kidneys to start functioning again. His blood levels are coming back more normal. But, just a few of some major concerns are his overall weakness (ie- can't walk more than a few feet by himself without a major fall including not being able to get back up on his own, can't get comfortable in his bed without at least one or two people helping him) and some unexplained, uncontrollable bleeding that has happened a few times (including yesterday) resulting in blood transfusions. We still aren't sure what is going on with the liver disease if there is any improvement in that now that his kidneys are functioning more normally again.

The hospital has mentioned today sending him home because of the improvement of his kidneys and his blood levels. Everyone in the family is very concerned about this as none of us see him ready for this at all. Please pray for wisdom for his wife and parents as they seek answers tomorrow before a decision is made. There will need to be an evaluation done by a physical therapist along with his team of doctors to see if he may need some more time in the rehab part of the hospital before he is strong enough to continue the recovery process at home.

We are very thankful that he is still with us, that we see some improvements in his kidneys, but there is still much to trust the Lord with in all of this. We are thankful that He is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Thank you so much for continuing to pray for Nathan and our family.
