Could College Park please start praying for a former co-worker of mine, who was layed off and is now having a hard time finding employment? In August it will have been a year since he was let go, and I worry that his family may be struggling to get by. I don't know how to help them, as we are not close friends, so I'm hoping that I can get a group of people to pray for him, that God will provide for his family's basic needs. Thank you.

Please pray for a gifted and brilliant young man who has been stuggling with bone damage as a result of poor medical care which has resulted in a long term degeneration. He has been living with exhausting pain for several years and his health is failing. This young man does not know Jesus. To suffer is hard but to suffer without hope is hard to process. He is in the hospital and at risk of kidney failure. He needs Jesus. Please pray for his salvation and for physical restoration.

Please pray for Tom McAllister's father, Larry McAllister. He had a hernia as well as 70% of his stomach and esophagus removed. It’s been abouts six months and we are back having his esophagus re-attached. He still has a hernia and a wound that they can’t close yet, so he will have to come back in about three months to have the hernia fixed and wound stitched up. He is currently at IU Hospital in ICU. Carol his wife is staying at the hospital in dad’s room. Her sister passed away last week and the funeral is today, so I am sitting with dad. They will probably be here another three weeks as dad recovers. They have started attending a church for about two weeks. I thought it would be nice if some people from the church could stop by and maybe bring some snacks, or something for Carol. It would be helpful for Carol to have some people that are Christians to stop in and show her Christ’s love.

Please pray for a close neighbor friend of ours. His wife has recently been placed in a nursing home. He is worried about so many things with this situation. My husband and I want to share the hope of Christ with him. Pray the Lord would give my husband and I time to do that and that his heart would be open to hear Christ speaking.
