I am asking everyone to please pray for my now 2 week old grandson. He was born with congenital pneumonia and Pulmonary Hypertension. He started showing signs of getting better, but now his oxygen saturation levels are dropping. Please pray he gets out any and all infections, disease, or abnormalities out of his body, and that he makes a full recovery. I thank you so much for all support!

I have just received this email from a very dear friend, Dan Forbes and his wife Cheryl, who live in Midland MI. Dan was a Christian school teacher as well as being involved with his church's Missionary Comm. The devastating flood this past spring completely flooded Dan and Cheryl's home and a rental home they bought for retirement income and they had to tear down to the walls. Then he was found to have cancer and this is Dan's update: Well, the biopsy report came back and we have met with our oncologist. The news is not good, from our perspective, but it is perfect from God's vantage point. There is cancer in a second organ, making it stage four cancer. Chemotherapy will begin next week with an aim of enhancing quality of life. Esophageal cancer is very serious, and statistically, I will have a year or two on this earth. But statistically, I should have died in a car accident long before now. God IS in control and His perfect plan will be carried out. Our best plan is to conform ourselves to His plan, day by day. Your prayers for us are much appreciated! Please join with us in prayer for this precious couple as they walk this new trial, but trusting our God with it all. Thank you.

Over two months ago I asked for prayer for my friend M. Thank you to all those who did so. Your prayers were encouraging to her.
M was then and is now still dealing with a number of hard things. One of those things was a divorce case against a husband who has been abusive in the past then last fall left her and her son and didn't come back. Her final court hearing will be next week. Please pray that her faith in God remains strong and that if possible she can get the sole custody of her son that she has asked the court for.

Please pray for my cousin who is having neck surgery on Wednesday morning. This will be her second neck surgery, and she is currently in a lot of pain. The surgerical spot is very close to the nerves that control her neck, so she's nervous. Thank you for praying for her!

I am scheduled for back surgery on September 11th. Please pray for wisdom and skills for my surgeon, and a successful operation. I have a disc between L3 and L4 that has a piece broken off that is impinging on the main nerve. Symptoms are that I can hardly walk and have 'pins and needles' in my lower leg and feet, along with sharp pains at my legs into my back. Trusting the result will be that I will be able to walk easily again and full life. God is a good God and I praise Him always. If the surgery does not work as well as hoped, I will still praise Him and hold Him in High Honor! Thank you so much for all your prayers, Saints!

Ask God to speak to the heart of moms & dads; to awaken their God given maternal & paternal instincts so they would choose to protect, nurture & provide for their children. I think Solomon relied on this instinct to identify the real mother as the one who would do anything to keep her child alive. Too many moms & dads believe the lies taught by our culture resulting in over 60 million babies aborted & their parents being severely wounded because of that decision. May no plan of the Enemy succeed.

Update regarding our Aug. 14 prayer request on behalf of our daughter, Ellen Lambertson. She had a follow up appointment with her surgeon today. He said her eye looked good and released her to return to work. She has some vision but it will be several weeks before she knows what her final vision will be. She is encouraged and thankful for God's graciousness (as we are) regarding her vision. Thanks to all of you who have prayed for her.
