UPDATE on my mom, Karen Alford. She is recovering from open heart surgery on February 28 when she had 4 bypasses. She is currently in rehab for a few weeks to gain back her strength. Thank you for all your prayers. We are firm believers in the power of prayer and they have helped sustain my mom and us during this difficult time.

Thanks for praying! After nearly 15 months of various treatments: surgery, physical therapy, chemotherapy, radiation and continued chemotherapy; I am in remission!

My last chemotherapy was on March 6. While I am grateful for healing, my greatest praise is for the practical growth in leadership for my national co-workers in the Middle East and South Asia during my stay here in Indiana for treatments. Earlier this year I traveled abroad with minimal health issues. Praise God for great things He has and is doing! I will be traveling abroad for ministry for several weeks later this spring.
