An update on my cousin, Creighton, that I have been sharing periodically since we found out just before Thanksgiving last year about his Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. Here is the latest update:

A couple of months ago Creighton had a follow up CT Scan to see how the tumors were handling the chemo. We found some things that needed to be addressed ( new tumors, escalation of previously known tumors, etc.) Chemo was increased to the maximum levels, and we continued on as normal as possible.

Last Friday Creighton had another CT SCAN to determine how things are progressing with updated treatment, and we got GREAT news. ALL of his tumors in his liver and abdominal walls have decreased in size!!! It was hard to determine how the pancreatic tumor is decreasing, but it is at least stable. So we are very excited 🤗🤗 (seems silly to be excited about tumors but this is our life right now 🙄🙄)

Our next steps- due to the decreasing nature or stability of the cancer, we are moving to the next step, which is the clinical trial. This is what we have been waiting on for the past 6 months. Starting in 2 weeks all of his treatment will be done, which will consist of the following schedule:

Week 1- chemo Week 2- no treatment Week 3- chemo Week 4- T-Cell injections Week 5- chemo And continuing on as above...

So, as of right now...we have received great news! He has a 4 year old Grandson and a Grandaughter on the way at the end of this month. Please continue to pray that things continue to be well for him so he can meet his Granddaughter soon and please continue to pray for him as he continues to fight and for our family.

Thankyou all for your prayers thus far.

I am asking for everyone to please pray alongside with me. I am burdened and I am weary. I don't know very many people and I am in the process of permanently moving to Indianapolis, and I am staying in Carmel currently. I am asking for the following items to be prayed about please: 1.) That God would give strength to my support system, treatment team, pastoral care, staff, my social worker and family/friends to help me. 2.) That I would be able to get a car of my own ASAP when getting my settlement check from insurance company..... 3.) My car, rental car, wallet, money and meds were all stolen and the rental car was damaged. 4.) That I would find a place to live since I got evicted for my best friend who stayed with me....have to be out by May 31. 5.) My best friend passed away on April 20, 2019 in my arms on the floor in my home and the funeral was April 27, 2019. I'm still upset by it and I miss her like crazy. I have a mixture of feelings and am praying for her family and friends and I to know deep down that she is in a better place with no suffering. I apologize for throwing everything out there, but the prayers from others would be much appreciated, as I read the scriptures and pray myself.

These scriptures and others help me realize that the power of prayer works:

Ephesians 6:18 Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints

1 Timothy 2:1 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people,

Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

Colossians 1:9
And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding

I pray that God would acknowledge my desire to become more like Him daily, as I am trying daily, because that is what we are called to do. Thank you for all of your prayers my brothers and sisters prayer warriors, in Christ!

Prayer Warriors! Update to my previous prayer request for my friend. Her name is Joyce and the drs now think that they have misdiagnosed the type of cancer that she has. They are re-reviewing her tumors to confirm new DX. Then will start on a journey of new chemo and an extremely difficult and long surgery(12hours). Her are HER prayer requests: That 1) the dx. can be clearly defined. 2) chemo will be more tolerable and 3) That they will find best surgeon for procedure. She is a strong believer-Praise God .So brothers and sisters in Christ, please keep her in your prayers.Thank you so much!

Prayer for healing in my right inner-ear from fluid build-up due to Meniere's Disease. Diet change, daily meds, and oral steroids have not stopped progression of hearing loss and worsening vertigo, so the next action is a course of steroids injected directly into inner ear.
Please pray that I would not be bitter from thoughts of entitlement of a perfectly healthy life, but instead that this difficulty would incline my heart even more so toward Christ and His coming kingdom.

Please pray for our friend Rene. He has been bleeding internally and unconscious since Monday. Please pray for the Drs to find where the bleeding is coming from and to be able to stop it, and that God would be with his family through this.

Please continue praying for Mitch specifically. On Monday, April 29, Mitch will be having a lung biopsy at noon to help identify the chronic issues he has been having with labored breathing. Pray for the surgeon to obtain the tissue she needs and that Mitch would have a smooth recovery with no complications. Please pray for the the Lord to strengthen the entire Pepper family's hearts as they trust in Him!
