Please pray for a 3 day old baby girl who is not in the custody of the birth mother or father. Praise God and please pray for our daughter & son-in-law who CPS has (temporarily) placed this baby (and her almost 2 yr old brother) with. This is on top our grandchildren (one of whom has CP & other difficulties). Pray for all of the dynamics that loom over this in my son-in-laws family (as the child was not placed with them). Pray for the substance abuse the birth mother struggles with & the other in her life, as well as the father of the baby girl. Pray for our family to make ways to (all) be there with & for them. Pray for resources as they do not have enough of the things this newborn will need (especially formula & diapers). I am confident in one thing, that God Almighty is able to do exceedingly and abundantly more than can be asked or thought. I pray this be a time they she is given eyes to see, even if dimly through her darkness. Thank you for the one anothering we are to do as the body of Jesus the Christ...in who's name we all pray.

Please pray for Susan Shefler, one of our members "who brings her own chair". Susan was taken to the hospital Tuesday evening not breathing and is currently in ICU. That's all we know right now. Please lift up her mom and dad as well as they are elderly and live out of town.

Please pray that God would heal me of things that happened in my past relationship (hurts) and help me not to give up in my relationship with God. Also pray that God would help me overcome selfishness. Finally pray that God would give me supernatural breakthrough in my life (finances, health, friendships, job).

Update on my 2 prayer request. I am heading to FL as my friend, Bob, is probably in his last hours on this earth. He and his wife joined their church this past Sunday--in their new hometown. Praising God for being able to walk alongside my friends as they travel this difficult journey ----God's love is being experienced in so many ways!!! Healing in relationships between our friend & wife with their youngest son and between both sons! Amazing healing of broken relationships!! Bob's peace along the way. He knows where he is headed. Continue prayers for these last days as they are still difficult. I am getting ready to drive down to be with them--safe travel prayers, please. Also, my sister, Linda, who has been diagnosed with malignant breast cancer found out everything is in VERY early stages---so thankful---they expect total healing. She is due to visit here next week and will have surgery after returning home to OR. Thank you!

Our grand daughter was born on September 12 with hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS) meaning the left side of her heart did not develop. Tomorrow she will have her first out of three life saving heart surgery. Her name is Peyton and her mom and dad are Clay and Katelyn. They are members of Genesis church in Carmel. Prayers we are asking for There is question as to whether Peyton had an arrythmia (Stent of SVT) before self-resolving. Please pray that she will be arrythmia-free. Arrythmias are common with HLHS and it can be very scary. Please pray for tomorrow’s surgery. This is a huge surgery (8 hours long) and is incredibly scary. Pray for Dr. Turrentine's hands, the staff caring for her to be detailed and thorough, for the surgery to go smooth, for her to be able to be separated from ECMO right or soon after, no major complications, strength for Peyton, and Clay and Katelyn’s mental health through this time. She will be very critical after. The fear of losing her is crippling

They have surrendered our baby to Christ.

He formed her. He makes no mistakes. He loves her more than we can imagine... we have an amazing God.

Yesterday I had an intake meeting with my son and the school counselor. My sweet 6yr son is being bullied to the point where he has gone into depression. He says he hates himself and he does not love himself. He said no one at school cares for him. I am so hurt that he is hurting but he showed no signs. He is such a sweet caring boy and I love him more than life. My heart is broken. Please pray for him.

I ask for community prayers for the following: 1) A young Mom of a 13 yo daughter who is also the faithful caregiver of her wheelchair bound husband has breast cancer and is undergoing treatments. We pray for her comfort, positivity, and successful treatments. 2) My friend's Mom passed away of an aggressive cancer in February 2019 and now her Dad is also passing from another form of aggressive cancer. He has months to live and was an alcoholic estranged from his family for years, very self-absorbed. This illness has caused him pause and when his daughter, who is now being pricked by the Spirit and growing in her faith with the Lord, was praying for him with her brother, her father asked too to participate in prayer, thanking God for his second chance in life and with his family. We pray for the Spirit to move and grow within this dear family to us and that the Lord's fire will burn within their hearts and that they can be rejoined in unity and grow permanently in love with the Lord. 3) We had to ask a mutual friend to leave our home this week. She commutes and stays with us while nursing here in Indy from Ohio. She brought into our home her infidelity towards her husband and recreational drug use, and she was mocking our faith. I have a young daughter myself and she is impressionable. We love this woman and her husband and are praying the Lord make Himself very known to her and that she will think of what she is doing, repent, and believe in God. We have ministered to her and I told her I loved her, but she could no longer stay with us. My daughter even noticed the infidelity and we have had some heartfelt conversations about it. I am grateful my daughter knows right from wrong and can see how distructive a pattern this can be and she is strong in our faith in the Lord. Please pray for restoration for this woman and that we can grow in love for one another and she can realize that true friends confront, don't hide and support, destructive behavior. I ask the Lord to work on her and her husband's marriage before it is too late.
