Heart for Lebanon

Lebanon has been a country in crisis for decades. Civil and regional wars, foreign occupation, and government corruption have led to crippled infrastructure, extreme devaluation of the currency, unemployment, and political instability. Today, over half the population of Lebanon is at or below the poverty level leading to increased tension with Syrian refugees. Refugee families are fleeing war and violence. They are looking for shelter and basic provisions, giving Lebanon the highest refugee population per capita in the world. Heart for Lebanon comes alongside families living in despair by helping meet physical needs through humanitarian aid and education for children; building authentic relationships through home visits, faith-based programs, and children’s activities; and introducing the hope that is found in Jesus Christ. They seek to reach, engage, and disciple men, women, and children—many of whom have never heard the truth about Jesus Christ.
