Dear College Park,
I recently visited the Ravenswood community to see the impacts of the flooding there firsthand. The need is great. Recovery and rebuilding will take time. Yet despite the devastation, the neighborhood residents are at work serving one another and organizing relief needs. As the situation progresses, their neighborhood Facebook page is being updated regularly with current needs.Â
College Park Church members have been onsite serving regularly and providing real-time updates. As a church family, we are committed to supporting the Ravenswood Community as they love their neighbors.
There are a variety of ways you can get involved:
- Donate items or money for immediate needs
- Volunteer in the donation sorting area
- Serve residents in cleaning their yards or homes
- Help residents rebuild their homes
- Or simply stay in the loop to help with needs as they arise
Want to serve or stay in the loop for future needs? Fill out an interest form to receive an email outlining specific ways you can get involved. From there, you can sign up for the times and opportunities that work for you.
Thank you for being the light of Christ to our community.
Sincerely,
Tyler Riffe
Assistant Pastor of Local Outreach
