God draws near to those who call on him. When we approach his throne of grace, we receive help in times of need. The fact is Prayer Matters. As we step into a new year, we are putting a focus on prayer. Why? Because prayer really does matter.
Pray over Services
Join us in prayer for our Sunday services! Each Sunday a team gathers from 9-10 a.m. to pray, asking the Holy Spirit to move in our church through the Sunday services. Meets in Prayer Room A (located across the hall from the Chapel).
Pray for the Nations
Pray for our missionary families and global partners at the monthly First Friday Prayer gathering. Come for a time of worship, an update on a missionary or global partner, and a time of intentional prayer for the nations. The next gathering is January 9.
Reflect & Pray over 2026
You’re invited to a prayer & journaling gathering at The Portico on January 11 after second service. Over lunch, you’ll have a chance to reflect on the past year and prayerfully consider where God may be leading you in 2026. If you’ve been longing for space to listen and process with God, this is the perfect place to begin. Adults and families are welcome.
Worship & Pray Together
Join us for a night of prayer and worship on January 14 in the Chapel. We will pray for our church and for one another’s needs. This event is open to all ages and will be hosted and led by Fireside, College Park’s young adult ministry.
Pray for our Community
You’re invited to join us at The Portico on January 19 at 12 p.m. for a time of guided prayer around biblical unity in diversity within our church, city, and country.
Fast & Pray Together
Join other College Parkers in a 24-hour fast on Wednesday, Jan. 21, kicked off by meeting together at Tinker Coffee at 6 a.m. for prayer and encouragement.
Pray with Church Family
Each month, we gather on a Sunday evening to worship and spend time in prayer as a church family. Join us for the next Worship-Based Prayer Night on Sunday, Jan. 25.
Pray & Fast
Join us for 14 days of prayer and fasting, from January 26 to February 8, where we’ll seek the Lord together as a church family and pray for the lead pastor candidate and for the Lord’s wisdom.
Pray in the Day
Start your day refreshed and encouraged! Join us Thursday, Jan. 29 at 7 a.m. in the Chapel for a time of worship and prayer at sunrise. Pastor Jake Brothers will lead us in uplifting worship, and Pastor Bob Martin will guide us through historic prayers from the Book of Common Prayer. Families are welcome.
