Adult Big Groups

Adult Big Groups (ABG's) are community-oriented adult Bible classes where you'll enjoy a more intimate community with teachings from Scripture. You can join an ABG anytime. Just drop by on a Sunday morning and any one of these groups will gladly welcome you!

Young Adults - This class seeks to help young, single adults and couples grow in their affection for Christ, in their obedience to Him, and in their service to others. The class meets in Chapel C during the 8 a.m. service.

Be One - This group studies books of the Bible moving from the Old Testament to the New Testament. It is open to all ages and meets in Chapel B. The class is led by Brad Merchant, Evan Collister, and Jeff Brown. The class meets at 9:30 a.m.

Eleutheros - This group studies books of the Bible, as well as other books. There are a number of community activities for men, women, and children. The group is open to all ages. It is led by David Hoeffeditz and meets in the East Rooms at 9:30 a.m.

New World - For the first 45 minutes of class, this group holds a discussion about a Bible teaching. Then, it breaks into smaller groups that spend time in fellowship and prayer. The group is for adults, including singles, and younger couples. It is led by Jim Williams and meets in Chapel A during the 9:30 service hour.

Young Adult Special Needs - This class seeks to engage young adults with special needs through one-on-one interaction, activities, and gospel-centered lessons. The group is open to teens and young adults. It is taught by Madonna Brindle and meets in E|101 at 9:30 a.m.

Truth Seekers - This group looks at Bible passages and topics and applies them to the needs of the people, through teaching and discussion. The group is open to all ages. It is taught by Phill Frye and meets in Chapel B at 11 a.m.

Monthly Meetings

  • DISCOVER College Park - This one-hour event will help you get to know us and help us get to know you. You'll get a chance to hear from Lead Pastor Mark Vroegop, ask questions, and discover how to take your next step at College Park.
  • Diversity Discipleship Discussion Group (3DG) - This group meets at 11 a.m. on the third Sunday of every month to fellowship, share, think, hear, pray, and love others as Christ has called us to.
