End-of-Year Generosity

Dear College Park Family, 

As 2025 draws to a close, the elders have been reflecting on the faithfulness of God across the history of College Park Church.

Forty years ago, a small group of charter church members began meeting together to ignite a passion to follow Jesus, and Jesus has faithfully shepherded that little church into what it is today. This year, we celebrated God’s faithfulness to grow, unify, and preserve this beautiful church even while we have been praying and asking God to show us who he’s calling to be our next lead pastor.

In every high and low of the past forty years, God has remained faithful. We echo the hymn writer, “Great is thy faithfulness.” Reflecting just a small snippet of God’s faithfulness, here are a few numbers and the stories behind them:

576 – “This is the number of College Park Elementary students impacted through weekly classroom friends who provide educational support, encourage teachers, and demonstrate Christ’s love through consistent presence, transforming routine classroom days into powerful bridges for the gospel.”
– Tyler Riffe, Assistant Pastor of Local Outreach

148 – “This is the number of new members who came into our church family this year, even while we have been in transition without a lead pastor. What a mark of God’s faithfulness and of the reality that a church family on mission involves more than just one person.”
– Bob Martin, Pastor of Membership & Connection

34 – “This is the percentage of expenditures that have gone to external ministry partners outside our walls and around the world.”
– Bruce Smith, Executive Pastor

4 – “This is the number of continents touched by 23 Vision Trip teams (the most ever in a single year!) to 16 countries with 191 overall participants helping carry the message of the gospel.”
– Ryan Skinner, Assistant Pastor of Global Outreach

God has accomplished all of this through your generous giving. One thing that has continued to be true over the last forty years is that this is a tremendously generous church!
