Theology Bootcamp is a three-part discipleship program of the College Park Church Institute (CPCi) designed to help you grow as a disciple. Throughout each bootcamp, you will learn about the core components of the Christian faith (Doctrine), the meta-narrative of the entire Bible (Drama), and how to flourish as a disciple of Jesus (Discipleship). By weaving together these three elements into a holistic approach to discipleship, men and women have the opportunity to grow in their love for God, Scripture and his mission.
This eight-week bootcamp immerses participants in the story of the Bible. Together, participants will examine the narrative of the Bible, what ties the Old and New Testaments together, and how to read the Bible as one, unified story. The bootcamp meets once a week for eight weeks, gathering for class and cohort discussion, as well as formation exercises. Plan on having about two to three hours of homework each week.
The group will meet digitally (via Zoom) on Wednesdays from 7-8:30 p.m., starting January 6 and ending February 24.
In order to provide the best experience possible, we are limiting this program to only fifty participants. We anticipate that the bootcamp will fill up, so please register now.
Theology Bootcamp is designed for students (14+) and adults who desire to grow in their knowledge and love for God. Our desire is that every College Park Church member and regular attender would complete all three bootcamps (Doctrine, Drama, and Discipleship).
We believe Theology Bootcamp is beneficial for every teenager and adult at College Park. Because this is a brand new learning opportunity and we want you to try it, we are waiving the fees for Theology Bootcamp: Drama.
