The term “Advent” comes from the Latin word for “coming” and marks a season of anticipation and waiting. Waiting for Christ to come to earth. Advent reminds us of those who waited for the arrival of the Messiah and points us toward the day when Jesus will return to earth again. Both events are cause for celebration!
