The Christmas Concert is one of the biggest weekends of the year at College Park Church. In 2018, over 7,400 people came to experience our church: music, cookies, and people! And many of them were able to start or build on relationships because of that weekend. Here are two ways you can invite others to the Christmas Concert this year:
1. Personal & Purposeful
Think about who you’re going to invite. Who is someone you have a relationship with at work or in your neighborhood? Do you chat often with your barista or mail carrier? Make the invitation personal because you already have a relationship.
Make it a personal invitation to them. This approach is an especially good fit for extroverts who have interactions with numerous people on a regular basis.
2. Digital & Thorough
Maybe you don’t have the same scope of relationships in your regular life as some other people. Maybe you feel less comfortable approaching people directly.
Introverts can also spread the word in a different way: using the church’s digital shareables to personally post about the upcoming Christmas Concert so your various friends and followers can check it out. Or you can message or invite people directly through social media.
Frame + Gospel
Remember, the Christmas Concert will be a great way to frame the gospel. But it takes us continuing our conversations with neighbors and friends to share the full gospel. Our fellow church members will frame the gospel, but we get to follow-up and share it.
