Vacation Bible School July 14-18, 2008 8:55am-12:00pm Answers in Genesis - "Amazon Adventure" VBS is a fantastic outreach opportunity for the young people at CPC as well as for our own community. Each year a new curriculum is chosen that is used to reach out to the children with a focus on evangelism and spiritual growth. This year our curriculum is through Answers in Genesis and is called the "Amazon Adventure." We will be studying the 7 C's: Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe, Confusion, Christ, Cross and Consummation. During the week the children enjoy Bible studies, crafts, a missions room, recreation and snacks. VBS is open to everyone ages K5 - 6th grade. Nursery and classes for younger children are available for VBS workers only. Over 200 workers are needed each year to make this week a success. Extreme Teens is for kids going into 7th - 9th grades and coincides with the timing of VBS. Extreme Teens meets at the Ministry Center located just west of the main campus and is led by one of CPC's elders. The teens enjoy a time in God's Word, "extreme" food, "extreme" fellowship and "extreme" fun! Over 100 teens attend this exciting week each year. Bring your friends for this great time of fun!
