What to Expect on Sunday
Our church exists to ignite a passion to follow Jesus in the people of Indianapolis and the world. If this is your first time to visit College Park Church, here's a brief description of what you can expect.
College Park pastors teach Bible passages verse-by-verse and give practical application of God's truth. If you want to catch-up to the latest message, go here to listen to or watch recent sermons.
Here's a sampling of sermons that give you a good taste of preaching at College Park:
- "Why Have You Forsaken Me?" | Psalm 22 | June 17, 2012
- "Alive!" | Matthew 27:62-28:10 | April 22, 2011
- "The Triumph of the Gospel Over Approval" | Galatians 2:11-21 | August 15, 2010
- "The Eclipsing Answer" | Job 38:1-42:6 | Feb 15, 2010
Our worship services typically begin with a time of singing and prayer that corresponds to the theme of the sermon. After that, we read the day's scripture passage before beginning the sermon. Check out recent songs that we've sung on Sunday mornings.
We'd love to connect with you and answer any questions you may have. After the service, make your way over to the Guest Reception Area outside the sanctuary. Here, a friendly group of people are eagerly waiting to meet you and help you get connected. See pictures from a recent Sunday.
Planning Your Visit
We have reserved visitor spaces just for you close to the building outside the two main entrances. Enter from any entrance, drive toward the main entrances, and look for the green spots in the Visitor Parking section near the main doors. If you choose to not park in the Visitor Parking sections, you will want to come early to park in the general parking area.
During our worship services, our trained child care workers are ready to welcome your children. Based on age or year in school, your children will be placed in the nursery or assigned to an appropriate Sunday school class. We would love for your children to join us on Sunday! You can complete and bring in the Child Registration form to speed the first-time check-in process.
If you have a child with special needs, we want you to know that we take very seriously what he or she experiences on a Sunday morning. We have rooms designed specifically for children with various special needs and have a caring team of Special Needs Buddies to give them a great experience while you are here at College Park.
