PARENTS
According to Scripture, the primary responsibility for raising a child belongs to the family. That being said, the church is also ordained by God to train people to know, love, obey, worship and serve God - and this includes training adolescents. The desire of the CPC student ministry is to partner with parents in the spiritual formation of their teens. We should not (and cannot) take the place of the home, but we can play a vital role in the discipleship of students.
The grOve encourages parents to stay informed on what the youth ministry is offering so parents can make the best decisions on how to have their teenage children grow spiritually. If parents have any questions, concerns, suggestions or comments, please contact Kendall Carlson or Pastor Don Helton.
