Men's Basketball
It seems as though everyone plays basketball here in Indiana…including us! Men of all ages, whether you are an active player, or used to play and want to come shake the rust off, or even if you are just learning to play, you are invited to join us as we seek to play basketball to the glory of God (1 Cor 10:31). We play every Thursday morning at the Indiana Basketball Academy located near 96th and Keystone (3800 Bauer Dr. West, Indianapolis, IN 46280-1982).
We start playing at 6:00am and play for a couple of hours, or until you have to leave. There are on-site showers available if you will be heading to work right after playing (bring your own soap and towel). We play full-court, dividing into teams based on who and how many show up. Each week, a volunteer leads the men in a time of devotion to the Lord during a break in play.
The competition is good, the fellowship is better, and our desire to glorify the Lord is of primary importance. So whether you eat or drink, or make every shot or can't hit the broad side of a barn, or are playing every second or waiting your turn to substitute in, do all to the glory of God!
