Pressing On Alongside One Another -- Real Men, Real Change
Being a godly man in our modern culture that is largely against Christ is not easy. Nor do real men want it easy. We are about the Holy Spirit developing a Christ-centered character in men so that we may be true witnesses for our Savior, Jesus. Doing hard things is what we were created to do; adding love and gentleness is what Christ transforms us to become. Tough and tender, just like Jesus, ... that is a real man.
Whether as single men, fathers or husbands, God has called us to serve one another so that we can better serve Him. We're not just about programs, but we do have some. Join us for a men's breakfast, Bible study or accountability group. Our desire is for you to find meaningful, significant relationships with other men.
Weekly Men's Bible Studies
There are several weekly men's study groups available. Several of these meet in the mornings so you can really get your day started right by linking arms with other guys and figuring out how to rigorously apply God's Word to your life.

Journey To True Financial Freedom
College Park is hosting it's 5th seminar from Crown Financial Ministries that trains individuals and couples on how to use God's resources for His glory. Whether you just want to get a budget under control or long to be a better giver to the glory of God, this seminar will help you navigate throught the Scriptures that lay the groundwork for handling money God's way. This is a one day seminar on January 17, 2009 that will leave you hopeful about what God can do and what He can turn around, no matter what your finances look like. Weekly Men's Accountability Groups
Sometimes it is best to meet with a few men to dig out things in our lives and find freedom and forgiveness from God. That is what our men's accountability groups are for. Men's Breakfasts
Twice a year, College Park hosts a Men's Breakfast, where men can connect with God and with other men, share a meal, and grow not only in knowledge but also learn how to live it out. All men are invited to the next Men's Breakfast on Saturday, January 3 from 8-10 a.m. beginning in the Fellowship Hall at the main building. We will be joining together for a prayer and fresh encounter with God after breakfast, starting out 2009 in worship and kicking off Prayer Week. Father / Son Overnight
Dads: bring your sons, your tents, appetites, and whatever else you need to the field behind the church for a night of fun, games, campfire, hangin' out with the guys, some Bible time and a time with your son you won't forget. May 22 is the night, beginning with 'staking your claim' sometime that afternoon. Dogs and chips and dessert will begin at 6, then varioius activities you can do with your son. Spend the night under the stars. We hope some will hang around Saturday for the Work Day at the church, too. Register online. Cost is $10 per father/son(s). Annual Men's Retreat
We host an annual Men's Retreat partnering with other churches in the Indianapolis area and have formed a group called Special Forces for the Savior, where every man is encouraged to serve in areas of deep need in our city. Come alongside for special projects and to grow in deeper devotion to Jesus. To enlist, engage and invigorate, send an email to Greg Pilcher. Our retreat for 2009 is August 14-16 at Lake Placid Retreat Center near Taylor University.
