Nursery
Our nursery provides a safe and loving environment for children 4 months through 2 years old. While in the nursery each Sunday morning, our caregivers (both parents and non-parents) pray for the children. Infants under 1 are prayed for by their caregivers and children over 1 begin learning about Jesus' love and His Word. Scripture, songs, and Bible truths are taught through the Sure Foundation/Desiring God curriculum, helping younger children to remember what they've learned.
Security
Security is a top priority within our nursery. All caregivers are required to have an application and background check on file with the church. The foot traffic through the nursery is also very limited on Sundays to ensure complete safety for all of the children. We keep our child-to-volunteer ratio very low in order to ensure the physical safety of each child while in the nursery.
Volunteering
Parents who use the nursery assist our staffing needs by serving during one of the Sunday morning services (8:00, 9:40 or 11:20 a.m.). Opportunities include caregiving, Bible story teaching and supervising. Along with parent volunteers, we also welcome any volunteer who has a heart to serve our babies, toddlers and their parents.
