Elementary Sunday School

The purpose of the Elementary Ministry (grades kindergarten through 6th) is to partner with parents in nurturing the spiritual formation of children.
We believe that the Bible is God's story. We also believe that children are capable of learning deep truths. Instead of teaching them a Bible story with the focus being an ordinary person and a moral, we draw their attention to what we learn about God from that passage of Scripture. Our desire is for children to respond as the Holy Spirit works in their hearts. We believe that this approach will not only soften their hearts to the Holy Spirit's call and ultimately their salvation, but also give them a strong foundation and biblical worldview.
Sunday School
Lessons are specifically designed for each class to provide Christ-focused teaching, worship and fun. During the school year, children will be assigned to a small group to facilitate applying the biblical truths taught in the lesson.
The 8:00 a.m. service offers a K-5th grade combined Sunday school class. During the 9:40 a.m. service all ages are broken up and open. The 11:20 a.m. service offers Children's Worship for Kindergarten-2nd grade and a combined Sunday school class for 3rd-5th grades.
Children's Worship
Designed for children in kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades, this class is a time for children to worship God together in preparation for one day joining their parents in the main service. Children's Worship meets at 11:20 a.m.
