Parenting With Purpose
To raise godly kids, we have to be godly parents. We believe the Word of God is the road map. No matter where you are in your parenting, we want to come alongside you to encourage you, to help connect the Word in your life and point you to Christ. Our goal is to help you parent as God has parented you. Parenting is a process, and we want to jump in the trenches with you, through every joy, struggle, heartache, and celebration.
As we co-labor with you to see God work in your chid's life, and in your life, we believe we will marvel at what God does as He uses His Word to transform hearts. Through classes, events, mentoring, and other means, we seek to be a biblical conduit that God would use in your family's life. We look forward to watching Him work as we encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Him. Currently, fall and winter classes are being planned. Age of Opportunity
This class will begin Tuesday, January 20 and go through March 3. It meets in Room A8C from 7-9 p.m. You will hear Mark and Nancy Ferrara teach from Paul Tripp's book Age of Opportunity about the challenges and biblical solututions of raising children near the teenage years into adulthood. This class is free, but you will need to purchase the book. Childcare is available if reserved before January 13. Childcare costs are $5 per child per night. Journey To True Financial Freedom
College Park is hosting it's 5th seminar from Crown Financial Ministries that trains individuals and couples on how to use God's resources for His glory. Whether you just want to get a budget under control or long to be a better giver to the glory of God, this seminar will help you navigate throught the Scriptures that lay the groundwork for handling money God's way. This is a one day seminar on January 17, 2009 that will leave you hopeful about what God can do and what He can turn around, no matter what your finances look like.
