THINK|13: Finding Your Place in God's Story
Friday, Mar 1, 2013 // 7:00pm
THINK|13 is our annual weekend where we as an entire church focus on theology and its real and practical implications for daily life.
The goal of THINK|13 & kidTHINK is to step back and consider where we fit in God's story, especially in the Bible. We know the Bible is important, but are we passive readers or active participants in it? And what is the big story found in the Bible?
Our guest speaker Dr. James Hamilton is Associate Professor of Biblical Theology at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and preaching pastor at Kenwood Baptist Church. He will introduce us to the important topic of biblical theology and how the Bible is so much more than a dusty story book.
Our THINK|13 book is Welcome to the Story by Stephen Nichols and is available for $5 in the resource area.
