Special Needs Legal Seminar

As the direction of Medicaid and SSI becomes difficult to predict and benefits often prove inadequate, it has become critical for parents to plan for the future of their child or dependent with Special Needs.
College Park Compassion Ministries is hosting a Special Needs Legal Seminar on Feb. 6 at 6:30 p.m. in the East Room. This informative workshop will cover the following topics and will be presented by MetLife Special Needs Financial Planner and parent Gordon Homes, CFP®:
- Legal issues, including wills, trusts, special needs trusts, and guardianship
- Financial issues, such as special needs trust funding, Medicaid and SSI.
- Family issues, including Letter of Intent and family involvement in the process.
