The Vision
For the glory of God in Christ, College Park Institute exists for the purpose of training participants to properly handle and interpret the Word of God while training them for Christian service here and internationally.
The Mission & Goals
Our main priorities are:
- To provide academic training in the Bible and its interpretation, church history, philosophy & theology.
- To provide & encourage Interactive dialogue in the classroom.
- To train leaders of College Park Church for all areas of ministry.
- To provide ample opportuniteis for practical experience.
- To offer life changing application and instruction to all who paricipate.
- To be open to all people, all churches.
|
Certification
Anyone can audit the classes for their own enrichment. You can also take the classes (see chart below) to achieve a certificate. Those who set their goal to get a certificate will need to complete the core classes, complete the practical training and write a thesis describing your theological beliefs & practice. The certificate program can be expedited as needed.
The Process
Classes take place Tuesday evenings (7:00 - 8:30pm) throughout the fall & spring.
Classes are taught by Joe Bartemus.
Occasional guest speakers will be used for certain classes and various seminars.
Some classes may require the purchase of reading material &/or textbooks. The classes are free of charge.
Classes are always available. Occasionally special classes (electives) are offered. We suggest participants take full advantage of these as well. These classes include counseling, missions work, etc.
