Life isn’t meant to be done alone. As we’re aiming to know, love, and worship God in a personal way, we’re also striving to know, love and support one another. Many opportunities or people of all ages and life stages are available at College Park to grow in your relationship with Jesus and with others through groups: Small Groups, Bible Studies, and Adult Big Groups.

Small Groups

Small Groups give us a great opportunity as Christ-followers to live life alongside one another. College Park Small Groups meet throughout the city and throughout the week. Most groups study the Scripture text from the previous sermon. Each Small Group is marked by three common group characteristics call our Small Group Essentials.

Three Small Group Essentials

Essential #1: Christ-Centered Focus on the Word

Community that is focused on Christ and intentionally opening God’s Word together will be a place that is shaped by God’s Word, focused on helping one another become more Christ-like, and rooted in biblical truth. Groups that want to form and/or continue as part of the Small Group ministry are committed to studying, memorizing, and obeying the Word of God together. This is the foundation of everything else we will seek to do within Small Group community at College Park.

Essential #2: Intentionally Invasive

It’s far too easy for us to stay on the surface in our relationships. Being real and honest with others is often messy and painful, so it requires intentionality. But growth happens when we choose to engage, to ask the hard questions, to give authentic answers, and to let others into our lives.

The more richly that groups engage with each other, the more they will need to be Christ-centered and focused on the Word. As groups grow closer, leaders and group members should ask questions about one another’s hearts, relationships, or backgrounds that don’t normally come up in a surface-level social group. This depth leads us to the beautiful reality of seeing our need for Jesus individually and collectively.

Essential #3: Living Life Together

Biblical community is about living life together and being committed to walk through the good times and the hard times with one another—not just during the group meetings, but all throughout the week. This might mean meeting for dinner together, a group outing, an email or text to connect during the week, or being prompted by the Spirit to pray for and encourage a group member.

College Park Small Groups meet at least twice a month. Life together requires time together, and we want our groups to have it.

When you’re ready to join a Small Group, click the button below to find the Small Group Finder. This tool will allow you to see open Small Groups by geographic location. You can filter results based on day of the week that the group meets as well as the time of the day they meet. The search will provide you with the Small Group leader's contact information so you can reach out and plan to visit.

Bible Studies

Bible Studies are weekly times to intentionally dig deeper into a particular topic or book of the Bible, enjoy fellowship, and spend time in prayer for others in the class. We offer several men’s and women’s Bible studies throughout the week.

Women’s Bible Studies

We invite you to join in community with other women to study God’s Word and learn how the Bible and its truths equip us in our daily lives to know and treasure Christ. We build friendships and pray for one another, and it is our hope that our time together will ignite a passion in you to follow Jesus. We offer fall, winter, and spring Bible Studies on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We have morning and evening studies.

Lead a Bible Study in your Neighborhood

Women Next Door is designed to help women bring the transforming message of God's Word to their neighborhoods. Has God been tugging at your heart to reach out to your neighbors with the love of Christ? Have you been thinking that the Lord may want you to start a Bible Study for women right where you live? Or, perhaps you are already involved in reaching out to your neighbors and would like to link arms with us. Our desire is to support you in prayer and provide ideas, formats, and materials. Together, God can use us to capture the hearts of women for Christ across the landscape of our city. Let's pray to the Lord of the harvest, that we might be used to further His kingdom. If you are looking to get involved in this initiative or if you have any questions, contact Jane Schuth.

Men’s Bible Studies

Men’s Bible Studies are a great way to grow in your understanding of who God is and what He has done. Studying the Word or another Christian book alongside other men provides a context where men can sharpen each other’s minds and apply the gospel to each other’s hearts as they press in to know Christ together. Each Bible study at College Park looks a little bit different. Some studies are bigger and some are smaller. Some study different books of the Bible and some study topics. But each study has the same goal: growing together in Christ as we work on rigorously applying God's Word to our lives. We would love to have you join us.

Adult Big Groups

Adult Big Groups are community-oriented adult Bible classes that allow you to engage in a smaller context on Sunday mornings. You’ll enjoy a more intimate community with teachings from the Scripture.

Adult Big Groups meet on Sunday mornings during the second service at the College Park North Indy unless otherwise noted.

Adult Big Groups are as diverse as the people that are in them, so we recommend visiting several to get a feel for their structure. You can jump in at any time or try several before making a selection.

Below is a current listing of available Adult Big Groups and locations at the North Indy location:
