Summer at College Park

North Indy

Summer can be challenging for your relationship with Jesus, but we want to help you keep pursuing Him and stay connected to one another.

Summer Fest

Our biggest event of the summer is Summer Fest, happening on Friday, July 28. Invite your neighbors, friends, family, and coworkers and join us for dessert, live music, games, and fun outdoor activities!

There's no registration for this event, but we'd love for you to RSVP to our Facebook event, and share the event with whoever you're inviting!

  • In the summer months, children are invited to worship with their families in the sanctuary.
  • In light of the holiday weekend, we will have two services on Sunday, July 2, at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m.
  • We'll meet for Worship-Based Prayer Nights at 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 25, Sunday, July 23, and Sunday, Aug. 27

Children's Ministries

Our Summer Schedule is designed to offer the next generation opportunities to connect with God, creation, each other, with their families, unbelievers that might live “next door,” and with the nations!

Corporate Worship

Children are invited to join their families for corporate worship in the summer months.

  • Elementary Sunday School does not meet during the summer but will resume on August 20.
  • Preschool Sunday School and Nursery will follow a normal schedule throughout the summer.

There are lots of great ways to connect this summer - check out these opportunities!

Student Ministries

Summer is a time when students become more available for relational connections and less available for attending weekly programming.  With this in mind, our structured programming for students is simpler in the summer months. Regular student programming will resume on August 20.

  • Rock the Grove:  An opportunity for 7th-12th graders to connect with one another and grow in their relationship with God, held in the College Park Ministry Center on June 7, July 5, and Aug. 2. Questions? Contact Alex Anderson.
  • Home Bible Studies: Rock, Grove
  • Cedar Point Trip (July 18-19)
  • Extreme Teens (July 24-28)

Women's Ministry

Refresh, relax and connect with the women of College Park at our Summer Gathering, Tuesday, August 29, 6:45-8:15 p.m! Bring a friend, neighbor or coworker and enjoy free Graeter’s Ice Cream and other treats.

The night will feature a panel discussion on “Finding Friendship in all Seasons" with Sarah Vroegop, JoAnn Dinsmore, Emily Schuitema, Kim Wharton and Ashley Wittmer.

Bring your own picnic blanket or lawn chair as this will be a casual event held on the lawn of the Ministry Center. Please consider carpooling as parking is limited. Additional parking and shuttle service will be available at the main church campus. If it rains, the event will move indoors at the Ministry Center.

Every dollar you give to College Park is used to fulfill our mission of igniting a passion to follow Jesus, and we're so grateful for your faithfulness and generosity. As you travel this summer, remember that you can give to College Park online from anywhere!

Sunday Mornings

For the summer months, families are invited to worship together in the sanctuary. Within our Next Generation Ministries, we provide nursery through 6th grade during the 9 a.m. service only, and no children's ministry will be provided during the 10:45 a.m. service as families are encouraged to worship together.

When you arrive on Sunday morning, please check in directly after entering the main doors. For more information about Fishers Children's Ministry, please contact our Children's Ministry Coordinator, Heidi Sweet.

Backyard Bible Clubs

Backyard Bible Clubs (BYBC) are five-day club experiences that allow you to reach others by offering fun and constructive activities for the kids to enjoy - right in your own backyard! Using the church-provided kit (which includes yard signs, materials, and handouts), YOU can host your own club, or help with another one.

Interested in hosting or helping with a club?

Please fill out this form, and we'll be in contact with you shortly!

Questions?  Contact Heidi Sweet.

Moms Meet-Ups

Moms Meet-Ups are designed as an opportunity for women in the Fishers congregation to get to know one another in a low-key environment. It's also a great opportunity to invite your friends and neighbors to join you in.

Sunday Mornings

As we prepare to launch in the Castleton community in the fall, families are invited to continue worshipping at the College Park Ministry Center at 9:45 a.m. The North Indy campus will continue to offer Nursery services through pre-school.

For more information about Castleton Children's Ministry, contact Eric Swanson.

Men's Bible Studies

Beginning June 16, men are invited to meet at the Castleton campus on Friday mornings from 6:30 a.m. - 7:20 a.m. For seven weeks, we will gather to study the book of James and discuss how this practical book ought to shape our lives. This study will be led Terry Sites, one of the College Park Elders who worships at the Castleton campus.

Questions? Contact Eric Swanson.

Prayer & Vision Nights

On Wednesdays, June 7 & July 12, from 7 p.m. - 8:15 p.m. we will gather at the Castleton campus to pray as a church body as we prepare to launch in the Castleton community. These will be important evenings to attend as we connect with one another in prayer and unite around our vision for the campus.

Questions? Contact Eric Swanson.

On Saturdays, June 24 & July 22, from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. join us for another time of fellowship at the Castleton campus. We also encourage you to bring your neighbors and introduce them to our church family.

Questions? Contact Eric Swanson.
