Baptism

"Going, make disciples...baptizing them..." These are the words of Jesus. Baptism is an ordinance of the church whereby a believer expresses their faith and desires to be identified with Jesus. The method we use is one time immersion to signify the death, burial and resurrection of our Savior.

All who seek baptism must fill out an application which will include a section to write and submit the testimony that will be read at the time of baptism. This testimony will be approved by Pastor Don and at least one other elder. A baptism class will be held one week prior to the baptismal service where you must meet personally with Pastor Don to discuss the importance of the Sunday morning baptism event. The 2012 Baptism service dates are April 22, July 29, and November 4.
