Knit, Crochet & Pray Ministry
Knit, Crochet & Pray Ministry is a group of women who gather to make items for individuals in need. Our mission is to use our God given talents and to be the hands of Christ as we reach out to supply the needs of our congregation and local/global communities. Our ministry provides items for our missionaries, crisis pregnancy centers, homeless shelters, U.S. Veterans, etc. and individuals going through illness or loss. We meet every 1st and 3rd Tuesday at 7pm in the church lobby (couches and chairs) near the refreshments area.
The Knit, Crochet & Pray Ministry is currently making hats and scarves Azerbaijan school children ages 6 to 16 years old. Final collection date is December 1st 2012. All items must be hand made (knitted, crocheted, sewed). If you cannot attend our meetings but would love to knit or crochet these items at your leisure, please drop these items off at the church welcome desk marked “Theresa Fronius/Azerbaijan Hat/Scarf Project”.
