Biblical Counseling
Life can be hard.
We all have times when we need a helping hand to navigate through the deep waters of difficult circumstances. Some of these trials are caused by our own choices and reaping the consequences of our decisions. Sometimes we are confused and do not exactly know why. Other times things are just dark and depressing, and we need some encouragement along the way. Whatever your situation is, God, through His Word and by His Spirit, has answers for you.
God has called the Body of Christ to minister to one another as we encounter the trials and temptations of life.
Our Counseling Ministry exists to equip all of the saints to be able to effectively handle the Word of God to help hurting people. This includes YOU! We believe that God's design is the "priesthood of believers" which means that His entire Body is involved in this discipleship work. To this end, we offer many training opportunities throughout the year. Our Equipping Opportunities page describes various ways that you can be equipped to help others. As you grow in this area, your own walk with Christ will be enriched and strengthened. We have also identified some biblical resources that we believe will be a blessing to you as you minister to others or as you struggle in your own life.
In addition to our focus of equipping the saints at College Park, we offer biblical counseling to our members and regular attenders.
One of our staff or lay counselors will come alongside you to help you find God and His answers in your valley of trial. We will point you to real Hope and healing for your soul through the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We want to be a blessing and a help to you in your walk with God.
